International Green Week
The International Green Week Berlin is the world's leading consumer show for agriculture, the food industry and horticulture. From 18 to 27 January 2019 Berlin's longest-established and busiest trade fair will be inviting trade visitors and the general public to attend the 84th edition, which will take place on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
In 2019 Finland will be the partner country of the International Green Week Berlin (IGW), marking the first time that a Scandinavian country will hold this title. Messe Berlin expects more than 1,600 exhibitors from some 65 countries and over 400,000 trade visitors and members of the general public to attend. The programme of conference events will focus on the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2019 (17 to 19 Jan.). Around 70 ministers of agriculture and high-ranking members of the food and farming industries are expected to attend the world's leading agricultural policy conference. Over 300 conferences, meetings, workshops and seminars for experts will be held at the Green Week.
The 84th edition of the Green Week will look back on a past spanning 93 years. Since its launch in 1926 around 90,000 exhibitors from 130 countries have presented their wide-ranging products from all over the world to over 33,3 million trade visitors and the general public.
